Multiple Room Renovation

This project reimagined two bathrooms and a dedicated laundry room to better support the home’s daily use. By converting the former laundry space into a guest bathroom and relocating the washer/dryer to a compact closet, we created a more functional plan within a classic San Francisco Victorian.

A modern bathroom with a white bathtub, a vanity with a wooden cabinet and a marble countertop, a vase of flowers, a large mirror, and wall shelves with decorative items. Two towels hang on the wall.
A modern bathroom with a white toilet, a wooden vanity with drawers, a vase of flowers on the vanity, floating shelves with decorative items, and a shower area with white subway tiles and a glass door.

THE CHALLENGE

The existing layout prioritized a separate laundry room at the expense of a much-needed guest bathroom, resulting in inefficient use of space. Working within the constraints of a second-floor Victorian, the project required creative plumbing solutions to support the new configuration without compromising the home’s structure.

THE OUTCOME

A smarter, more balanced layout that adds a full guest bathroom while maintaining convenient access to laundry through a streamlined hall closet. The updated spaces feel cohesive, functional, and thoughtfully integrated into the home’s original character.
